Missouri agencies establish unified command ahead of planned protests
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri Department of Public Safety, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Missouri National Guard have established a Unified Command to monitor and respond to immigration enforcement protests planned across the state.
The agencies say they are prepared to assist local law enforcement in maintaining public safety and protecting communities.
Officials emphasized that while they respect the right to peaceful protest, they will not tolerate violence or lawlessness.
