Missouri Beaches Update: Swimming conditions and closures, Trail of Tears marked safe
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has updated its beach status report as of Thursday.
The following beaches are open and did not exceed E. coli concentration criteria:
Finger Lakes State Park – Public Beach, Columbia
Lake of the Ozarks State Park – Grand Glaize Beach, Osage Beach
Lake of the Ozarks State Park Public Beach #1, Kaiser
Lake Wappapello State Park – Public Beach, Williamsville
Long Branch State Park – Public Beach, Macon
Mark Twain State Park – Public Beach, Florida
Pomme de Terre State Park – Pittsburg Beach, Pittsburg
Pomme de Terre State Park – Hermitage Beach, Hermitage
St. Joe State Park – Monsanto Lake, Park Hills
St. Joe State Park, Pim Lake, Park Hills
Stockton State Park – Public Beach, Dadeville
Trail of Tears State Park – Public Beach, Jackson
Harry S Truman State Park – Campground Beach, Warsaw
Harry S Truman State Park – Day Use Public Beach, Warsaw
Wakonda State Park – Public Beach, La Grange
Watkins Woolen Mill State Park – Public Beach, Lawson
One beach has exceeded E. coli concentration criteria, and swimming is not recommended:
Cuivre River State Park – Lake Lincoln Public Beach, Troy
No beaches are closed due to high water levels.
One beach is closed and did not exceed E. coli concentration criteria:
Thousand Hills State Park – Public Beach, Kirksville (closed until further notice due to renovations)
No beaches have pending water quality samples.
