Missouri Task Force 1 returns from Texas deployment after flood cleanup

COLUMBIA, Mo., (KBSI) — Members of Missouri Task Force 1 have returned home after deploying to Texas to assist with flooding search operations, Gov. Mike Kehoe announced.

The team, based in Boone County, provided critical support to communities and families affected by the flooding.

While most team members returned home, four remain in Texas to support FEMA’s search and recovery mission.

Kehoe thanked the team members for representing Missouri during the challenging deployment.
