Mobile dog adoption event comes to Cape Girardeau May 17
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A mobile dog adoption event will be held May 17 at AG Jones at Home & Roost Home Design Marketplace, 39 N. Broadview St.
Southeast Missouri Pets will have dogs available for adoption on site, with a special $100 adoption fee for dogs four months and older.
The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., aims to find forever homes for pets in need and support the local nonprofit organization.
“We care for 3,000 animals each year who need our help,” said Jenn Farmer, executive director of Southeast Missouri Pets. “Events like this help another dog find a loving home, making room at the shelter for another pet in need.”
Southeast Missouri Pets is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the human-pet bond and helping pets through sheltering, adoption, education and community outreach.
