MoDOT presents ‘No More Litter’ campaign

MISSOURI (KBSI) – The Missouri Department of Transportation has a fun and educational program to get children to fight against litter.
The contest encourages children to join the fight against littering by decorating a large trash can with a ‘No More Litter!’ logo and a message against littering. Children are encouraged to use colors, crayons, art supplies and decorate with whatever art supplies they would like.
Schools or homeschool programs may present one trash can entry in each competition: grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12.
Entries are based on creativity, adherence to the contest rules and effective use of the theme and logo.
First-place winners from each competition category receive $200 awarded to the sponsoring schools. All first-place winners are then eligible for a grand prize of $600 and a trophy awarded to the sponsoring school.
School groups interested must present a completed entry form, a release form and up to three photos by March 15.
