Muddy River Marathon set for Saturday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Muddy River Marathon will take place Saturday, May 3, 2025, starting at 6:00 a.m. at the Century Casino.

The course will wind through historic downtown Cape Girardeau and the Cape La Croix Trail, finishing back at the casino.

The westbound lane of Broadway, from Houck Place to Clark Street, will be closed during the event.

Drivers are advised to remain alert and watch for runners along the route.
