Multiple crews respond to structure fire

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Multiple fire departments respond to structure fire.

According to Scott County Rural Fire Protection District on Monday, December 23, 2024 the Scott County Rural Fire Protection District responded to County Road 333 for a reported Structure Fire.

Squad 65 was the first arriving personnel and found a large outbuilding and a camper heavily involved with fire.

The crew of Squad 65 immediately began fire suppression.

Mutual aid was requested from NBC Fire Protection District, Oran Fire Protection District, and the Benton Fire Department for manpower and water supply.

North Scott County EMS also responded.

The incident became under control in under an hour.
