Multiple homes damaged and residents without power in Du Quoin

DU QUOIN, Ill. (KBSI) – Multiple homes received storm damage in Du Quoin according to the City Emergency Management.

Raymond Clark with Du Quoin Emergency Management reports that on March 15, 2025 about 5 homes received damage of varying degrees about 1.3 miles North/West of the City of Du Quoin.

Additionally, approximately 4,200 Ameren customers are without power in Du Quoin due to storm damage. Current time of restoration is unknown.
