Murray man arrested after traffic stop reveals stolen vehicle

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Murray man early Thursday after a traffic stop revealed he was driving a stolen vehicle.
At about 6 a.m. March 5, deputies stopped a vehicle on South 12th Street in Murray. The driver, identified as Aaron R. Wilkinson, 52, of Murray, was found to be operating a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
According to authorities, the vehicle was reported stolen following a burglary at an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Mayfield, where the vehicle went missing.
The investigation will continue with the Mayfield Police Department.
Wilkinson was taken into custody and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
He is charged with:
- Receiving stolen property $10,000 or more (Class C felony)
- Operating on a suspended license
- Receiving stolen property
