myTEAM Triumph receives more than $20K grant

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – myTEAM Triumph of Missouri is receiving an award of $20,700 as part of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) 2023 1st Cycle Direct Effect Quality of Life grants.

myTEAM Triumph of Missouri will use the grant for the purchase of 2 Duet eBikes to be used for Freedom on Wheels, a program designed to give the experience of movement to people with limited mobility in nursing homes, schools, community organizations and events.

Fifty grants totaling $1,017,772 were awarded.

The Quality of Life Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations that motivate people living with paralysis.

The Reeve Foundation’s National Paralysis Resource Center has several grants under the Quality of Life program awarding grants in different areas, varying in different amounts.

The Direct Effect Quality of Life grants program funds organizations up to $25,000 to support multiple projects that impact people living with paralysis and their families.
