NFL star presents gift of a lifetime to young fan
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – NFL star quarterback Patrick Mahomes gives one Lee’s Summit teen the gift of a lifetime, two tickets to this year’s Super Bowl.
13 year old Isaac Murdock said, “Even when I got the tickets at first we still weren’t even like even going to get in the playoffs at that point.”
However, the returning Super Bowl champions toughed it out. Isaac said he has been on edge the past three weeks rooting for the Chiefs to get there.
“The first one was like ok, then when we won that second one it was like we’re one game away and then once we won a couple of days ago, that was just insane.” said Murdock.
“Obviously since the Chiefs are there, it just made the whole experience 10 times better. We’re not gonna get yelled at for wearing Chiefs gear or anything and that we actually get to watch our team play.” also said Murdock.
“Isaac’s family had two tickets to the Super Bowl and it was kind of a tough decision for him to decide who was going to watch the game with him. But then last week something special happened.” reported Alan Shope.
“Our church actually surprised us with two more tickets and so then now all four of us are able to go.”, “It just feels super awesome that it’s obviously a one in a lifetime experience and that we can all actually do it together.” young Murdock states.
The 2024 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11, 2024.
