Norris City man facing terroristic threats and intimidation charge

HARRISBURG, Ill. (KBSI) – A Norris City man faces a terroristic threats and intimidation charge.

The Harrisburg Police Department began conducting an investigation into the threat of an active shooter during the overnight hours of November 14.

Hunter D. Gross, 19, of Norris City is accused of making threats.

Authorities executed a search warrant at a home in White County.

Gross is behing held at the Saline County Detention Center on a no bond warrant charging him with making terroristic threats and intimidation.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office, White County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police District 19 Investigations, Saline County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the ILEAS 9/11 Special Response Team assisted in the investigation.
