Orange Barrwel Report Feb. 16th

(KBSI) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has blocked KY 58 and Brewers Highway at the 1.3-mile marker in Marshall County due to infrastructure damage from flash flooding.

The flooding has undermined the roadway, washing out pavement. Repairs are pending.

Motorists traveling south on KY 2603 will be unable to turn right onto KY 58 and will need to turn left and head to the Brewers “Y.”

Several roads in the region remain closed due to high water, including in Carlisle and Crittenden counties. Motorists are advised to check road conditions before traveling.

Officials warn that driving through high water can be deadly and urge motorists to turn around if they encounter flooded roadways.
