PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) – The Paducah Chiefs are still seeking host families ahead of the start of their 2026 season later this month, according to team officials.
General Manager Greg McKeel said additional families are needed to house players during the summer season. The college wood-bat team plays at Brooks Stadium and relies on local residents to provide housing for players during their stay.
Officials said host families provide support and stability for players who are away from home, often forming long-term relationships.
Those interested in becoming a host family can contact McKeel or assistant general managers Tab Brockman and Greg Cannon for more information.
The Chiefs’ first home game of the season is scheduled for May 29.
Season tickets are available for $200 and include all home and playoff games. General admission tickets will be available at the gate.
The team, originally founded in 1903, was revived in 2016 and competes in the Ohio Valley League.
