Paducah man arrested on child pornography charges

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Authorities arrested a 58-year-old man on charges related to child pornography after a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Steven E. Scott was taken into custody April 23 in the 800 block of Washington Street after detectives confirmed he possessed prohibited material, police said.

The investigation began after the NCMEC reported finding over 60 images depicting children in sexual performances stored on Scott’s Google account.

Scott was jailed at the McCracken County Regional Jail on $50,000 cash bond, charged with possession or viewing of material portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old.
