Paducah man charged in connection with stolen utility trailer

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County sheriff’s deputies have charged a Paducah man with receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence after a utility trailer was stolen from a West Paducah business.

Scott Durbin, 62, was arrested June 24 after a traffic stop by Paducah police. Deputies had been investigating the theft of the trailer, which was captured on Ring video.

Durbin allegedly dropped off the trailer at a business in the Cairo Road area, but it was recovered and returned to its owner.

Durbin has been charged with receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, a Class D felony, and tampering with physical evidence, also a Class D felony.
