Paducah man in custody for alleged sexual abuse allegations of a minor

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man is in custody after sexual abuse allegations were reported.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, December 9, 2024, deputies responded to a residence in the Farley community regarding a sexual abuse allegation.

Deputies conducted an investigation, and they say it showed Cory Cotton age 38 of Paducah had entered the bedroom of a teenage resident of the home. Cotton touched the minor while preforming an act of sexual self-gratification while the minor was sleeping.

Cotton was taken into custody at the scene and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail on one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.
