Paducah’s Lower Town Arts & Music festival canceled for 2025, city vows to revive event in 2026
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The city of Paducah expressed disappointment over the cancellation of this year’s Lower Town Arts & Music Festival, a cherished event celebrating local music, arts and culture.
The festival, typically held in May, has been a staple in the community for over 20 years, with the city serving as a proud co-sponsor ¹. Yeiser Art Center, the primary organizer, made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.
Despite the cancellation, the city remains committed to finding a new home for the festival in 2026 and is working with the community to develop a plan to celebrate Paducah’s arts and culture.
