Perryville firefighters teach fire safety at St. Vincent Elementary

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Members of the Perryville Fire Department visited St. Vincent Elementary this week as part of Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters John and Shane spent the morning teaching students about fire safety — including what to do in an emergency and how firefighters work to keep the community safe each day.

Students enjoyed asking questions, learning about fire prevention, and getting an up-close look at the firefighters’ gear.

School officials thanked the Perryville Fire Department for taking the time to visit and share such an important safety message with students.
