Perryville schools briefly placed on lockdown during police pursuit

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) — Perry County School District 32 says its campus was briefly placed on lockdown Monday while law enforcement pursued a suspect through the area.
According to the district, the lockdown was initiated as a precaution while officers pursued a suspect by vehicle through the campus.
School officials said law enforcement later advised that the suspect had been apprehended and removed from campus.
The lockdown has since been lifted. No additional information about the pursuit or the suspect has been released.
