Police investigate report of shots fired in Cape Girardeau
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 900-block of Jefferson Street.
Officers responded to the scene at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday and found evidence consistent with shots being fired, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Two residences and a vehicle were damaged by gunfire, police said. The suspects had fled the area before officers arrived and remain at large.
