Poplar Bluff police arrest Jamal Nance on multiple felony warrants

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — Jamal Nance, 38, was taken into custody Monday by Poplar Bluff police after allegedly providing a false identity and briefly barricading himself inside a residence.

Nance was wanted on multiple felony charges in McCracken County, Kentucky, including burglary, robbery, unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment.

He also had a no-bond parole violation warrant for original charges including trafficking a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon.

During the arrest, officers found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Charges related to these findings will be reviewed by the Butler County Prosecutor’s Office.
