Precautionary boil water order in effect for part of Perryville

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – A precautionary boil water order is in effect for a part of Perryville.

Perryville Public Works is replacing a hydrant and must turn off certain segments of W. St. Joseph Street.

A precautionary boil water advisory is in effect for the following locations W. St. Joseph Street (2101,2105,2109,2113,2203,2211,2215,2305,2309,2315,2317,2401,2407 and 2411).

City officials say it will be necessary to boil water for at least 10 minutes for drinking and preparation of food for precautionary reason until further notice.

As soon as water samples are analyzed and approved.
