(KBSI) – Anyone planning to mail some letters may want to stock up on stamps.

Prices are going up again Sunday, July 14.

The cost of a first-class forever stamp will increase from 68 cents to 73 cents.

The increase is a five-cent jump and an increase of more than 7 percent.

The price hikes are needed to achieve financial stability as part of a 10-year plan announced in 2021, according to the U.S. Postal Service.

This is the second increase in stamp prices this year.
