Puxico man dies in crash west of Sikeston
NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A Puxico man died in a crash Wednesday near Sikeston.
Jerry L. Jones, 39, of Puxico was driving a 2014 Ford Fiesta on Hwy. 60 one mile west of Sikeston. It happened at 9:11 a.m. on Feb. 28.
Jones pulled into the path of a vehicle driving by Harold J. Crail, 65, of Scott City, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene by New Madrid County Coroner George Delisle.
Crail was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
