Rain likely Tuesday (10/24/22)
The next few days will be a return to fall, but only after a good rain chance. Temperatures will try for 70 degrees Tuesday, but most of the day will have a chance for rain and storms. After Tuesday, it will be much cooler with mostly sunny skies.
On Tuesday, the day will start off in the lower 60s and we then slowly warm up to around 70 degrees by 3:00pm. Showers and storms will be likely on and off throughout the day.
There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather Tuesday, with the higher “Slight Risk” further south. However, it’s still possible we could see one or two severe storms during the day.
Much needed rain is going to fall during the day on Tuesday. Heavy rain is more likely in central Missouri with 1-3″ possible in this area. A half an inch or more will be possible in our area.
After Tuesday, temperatures fall off and will have a fall feel to them for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday may see some rain.
