Reidland Elementary earns Family Friendly Schools Certification

PADUCAH, Ky. — Reidland Elementary School has earned the Family Friendly Schools Certification from the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence.

The certification recognizes the school’s success in building effective partnerships with families and the community.

“Reidland Elementary has demonstrated a strong commitment to involving families in their students’ education,” said Brigitte Blom, president and CEO of the Prichard Committee.

The certification is awarded after a review and scoring process by a working group of families, educators and community organizations.

Reidland Elementary used a self-assessment tool to evaluate its family engagement performance and implemented new practices to improve its family-friendly rating.
