Road closures announced for Jackson’s Homecomers celebration

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The annual Homecomers Celebration will bring road closures to uptown Jackson from July 20-26.

The closure plan includes:

— Sunday, July 20: 200 and 300 blocks of S. High St. and south half of Court St. closed at 1 p.m.
— Monday, July 21-Saturday, July 26: S. High St., Main St., south half of Court St., and south half of Barton St. closed at 5 p.m.

Adams and Jefferson Streets will remain open to local traffic daily from 11 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and exercise caution near the uptown area.
