Route B in Butler County to close for bridge replacement

SIKESTON, Mo. — A section of Route B in Butler County will be closed starting Jan. 27 for a bridge replacement project over Drainage Ditch One.

The closure, located between Route Z and County Road 557 near Poplar Bluff, is expected to last until May 7, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes, as the road will remain closed during construction. The work zone will be marked with signs, and drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution when traveling near the area.
