Scott City Council passes no-parking ordinance

SCOTT CITY, Mo., (KBSI) – An ordinance prohibiting parking on East Maple Street, between 4 Street East and 6th Street East, has been passed by the City Council.

The ordinance applies to both sides of the street. “No Parking” signs will be installed to indicate the restricted area.

The measure aims to enhance safety for residents and motorists.

Violations of the parking ban may result in citations and towing of vehicles.
