SEMO SBDC to host free workshops for National Small Business Week

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Small Business Development Center at Southeast Missouri State University will celebrate National Small Business Week, May 4-10, with a series of free workshops across the region.

The SBDC will offer seven no-cost events in Kennett, Dexter and virtual sessions, designed to help business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs grow, innovate and succeed.

Topics will include strategic growth, marketing, talent attraction and retention, AI in business and branding.

“We’re proud to support the hardworking small business community in Southeast Missouri,” said Jakob Pallesen, SBDC director. “This year’s workshop series offers practical, actionable tools for growth, marketing, staffing, branding and even leveraging AI.”
