Several fire departments fight multi-story barn fire in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Several fire departments responded to a multi-story barn fire in McCracken County.

West McCracken Engine 50 and Brush 54 as automatic aid with Concord Fire Department responded to the area of Mayfield Metropolis Road for report of a fire.

When firefighters arrived, they found a multi-story barn engulfed by fire.

Units on scene set up for a defensive fire attack. Firefighters contained the fire to the area of barn until the fire was out.

West McCracken cleared the scene.

Concord firefighters remained to put out any hot spots.

Other agencies that responded to the scene include Concord Fire Department, West McCracken Fire Department, Kevil Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Kentucky State Police.
