Shawnee Park Sports Complex clarifies water, cooler policy

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Officials at Shawnee Park Sports Complex are apologizing for a miscommunication regarding the facility’s water and cooler policy.

The policy allows guests to bring in water jugs or bottles and reasonably sized team coolers containing water, fruit, vegetables and cooling towels.

However, due to health regulations, personal water bottles cannot be refilled at concession stands. Water fountains are available near the concession stands.

The safety and well-being of guests is the top priority, officials said, and they appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe environment.

The facility encourages guests to support its full-service concession stands.
