“Shine and Show” event series returns to downtown Marion area

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) – The inaugural “Shine and Show” event drew a crowd, thanks in part to contributions from local businesses, including 618 Tap House.

The recurring event, held on the first Thursday of each month through October, will next take place from 4-5:30 p.m. at 618 Tap House.

Car show participants can register and meet at 4 p.m. A cruise down Halfway Road to W. Main Street will follow at 5:30 p.m., ending at Tower Square Plaza.

A poker run will also be held, with registration available from 5:45-6:15 p.m. The last card draw will be at 7:40 p.m., with winners announced at 8 p.m.

Car show winners will also be announced at the final stop location.
