Sikeston DPS seeking unidentified victims in case for inappropriate acts

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI)- Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety have received recent reports of a male engaged in lewd sexual acts in public.

They say it appears this male will seek out isolated female victims in public retail sales locations.

Upon follow up investigations and interviews with victims, Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Unit were able to make an arrest in those reported cases.

Detectives are asking for any unidentified victims or witnesses of similar described events to contact Detective Matt Cotner at 573-475-3787 or the anonymous tip line at 573-475-3774 to make a formal police report so those cases can be investigated as well.
