Southeast Missouri State to host inaugural High School Accounting Camp June 13
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri State University will host its inaugural Redhawks Accounting Summer Camp on June 13, a free, one-day event for high school students interested in accounting.
The camp will feature hands-on activities, professional mentoring and a chance to compete for a $2,500 scholarship. Students will also participate in a campus-wide scavenger hunt, interactive sessions and an accounting trivia challenge.
SEMO alumni from top accounting firms, including Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, will serve as mentors and share their career experiences.
One attending student will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship toward their future SEMO education.
