Southern Illinois to host free “Stop the Bleed” trainings in March

SOUTHERN Ill., (KBSI) – The Southern 7 Health Department’s Medical Reserve Corps is offering free “Stop The Bleed” community trainings throughout southern Illinois in March.

The trainings, open to those 18 and older, will be held at various locations, including:

March 1: Shawnee Community College, Ullin, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

March 6: Hardin County School, Elizabethtown, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

March 8: Fellowship Baptist Church, Vienna, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

March 18: Shawnee Community College, Cairo, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

March 19: Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, Anna, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

March 22: Goreville School, Goreville, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

March 27: Meridian School, Mounds, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

March 28: Pope County High School, Golconda, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

March 31: Vienna High School, Vienna, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Pre-registration is required. Participants will receive a free “Stop The Bleed” starter kit.
