WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — A traffic stop led to the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of two stolen vehicles in Williamson County.
On March 12, 2025, deputies from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office located a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck at Huck’s convenience store. The vehicle was previously reported stolen from Nashville, Illinois.
A felony stop was conducted, and Jeremy L. Weir, the driver, was removed from the vehicle. Also found in the vehicle were Lucille A. Odam and Kelsi N. Wingo. An inventory of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a key fob belonging to a Ford Mustang.
Deputies later discovered a stolen white Ford Mustang parked in the 1500 block of Brittany Lane in Marion. The vehicle contained dozens of vehicle titles and other documents believed stolen from a Carbondale automotive dealership.
Weir, Odam, and Wingo were arrested and cited with multiple charges, including possession of stolen vehicles, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were transported to the Williamson County Jail.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office thanked several agencies for their assistance in the investigation, including the Energy Police Department, Herrin Police Department, and Carbondale Police Department.
