Thrillbillies to partner with St.Louis Cardinals 1st base coach in one day youth clinic

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) – Ever want your child to receive training from a St. Louis Cardinal’s Baseball player? Well, now’s your chance!

The Thrillbillie’s are partnering up with the St. Louis Cardinals 1st base coach to offer a one-day youth clinic at Mountain Dew Park!

The SI Elite Baseball and Softball Training Academy, John A Logan College Baseball and Thrillbillies Baseball announce their 2nd annual 1-Day Skills Clinic featuring St. Louis Cardinals 1st Base Coach and former MLB player, Stubby Clapp.

The one-day clinic will take place on November 16, 2024, at Mountain Dew Park in Marion, Illinois and start at 9 am.

The clinic is $100 for ages 8-17 and offers a unique experience and rare opportunity for young players to receive top-tier instruction in hitting, fielding, and base running.

The fun doesn’t stop there! In addition to working with St. Louis Cardinals 1st Base Coach and former MLB player, Stubby Clapp they will also receive training from Thrillbillies General Manager Ralph Santana, as well as SI Elite Coach Chris Dalton, and members from the John A Logan College Coaching Staff.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Stubby Clapp back for another clinic,” said Ralph Santana, General Manager and Head Coach of the Thrillbillies. “Having someone of his caliber work with our local athletes is a fantastic opportunity. Our goal is to help every participant grow, both in their skills and their love for the game.”

Spots are limited to 100 athletes so early registration is encouraged.
