Tornado leaves trail of destruction in Johnson County, Illinois

VIENNA, Ill., (KBSI) — A likely tornado overnight destroyed multiple mobile homes and buildings in Johnson County, flipping and sweeping them off their foundations.

Aerial footage captured by WFCN’s drone showed the devastation in areas north of Vienna, near the intersection of U.S. 45 and I-24.

No injuries have been confirmed, but the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is continuing survey efforts to assess the damage.
