Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A New Concord man faces several drug charges after a traffic stop in Murray.
David Cunningham, 55, faces charges of no registration, failure for owner to maintain required insurance 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine) and possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (cocaine).
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 641 North in Murray on September 11 around 4:30 p.m.
Cunningham, the driver, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
