MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — Two people suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash Thursday at the intersection of Dick Castleman Bypass and Charles Drive, according to the Mayfield Police Department.
Police said Dawn Barnett, 51, of Murray, was driving a Ford Fusion south on the bypass when she failed to slow for two vehicles turning right onto Charles Drive.
Barnett’s vehicle struck the rear of a Dodge Dakota driven by Jessica Hurst, 28, of Mayfield. The impact pushed Hurst’s vehicle into the rear of a Dodge Caravan driven by Rachel Jones, 54, of Arlington.
Barnett and Hurst were transported by Mayfield-Graves County Fire and EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Burl’s Towing Service and Affordable Towing Service assisted police at the scene.
