Undercover drug investigation leads to arrest in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI)- During numerous drug investigations, sheriff’s detectives received information concerning a suspect who reportedly had been selling crystal Methamphetamine in both Mayfield, and the Wingo area.
An undercover drug investigation Friday afternoon led to sheriff’s deputies and detectives observing and filming the suspect 41-year-old, Reco M. Berry, selling crystal Methamphetamine on the Walmart parking lot.
Detectives had learned that Berry had prior armed robbery and assault charges in the Chicago area.
After the sale, the suspect was followed out of the congested area and stopped near the Ky Hwy 303 and Ky Hwy 80 intersection and was taken into custody.
Subsequently, a search warrant was obtained and served on his residence later in the afternoon which is located in the 900 block of Macedonia Street in Mayfield.
During that search, US currency believed to be proceeded of illegal drug sales, and two handguns were recovered and seized.
Arrested: Berry, Reco M. age 41 of Mayfield, Ky
Charges: Trafficking in crystal Methamphetamine
Possession of Handgun(s) by a Convicted Felon
Berry was transported to an out of county detention center.
The investigation is still continuing.
