Union City Energy Authority restores power after storm causes outages

UNION CITY, Tenn., (KBSI) — Crews with the Union City Energy Authority restored power early Monday morning after storms caused outages in the northwest portion of the city.

Utility officials said the area was affected around 10:30 a.m. Sunday during the storm. Crews worked through the night and completed repairs around 2 a.m. Monday.

In addition to storm-related repairs, crews also replaced a three-phase utility pole on Highway 5 toward Hickman after it was snapped in a vehicle crash.

Union City Energy Authority officials thanked crews for their work restoring service following the weather event.
