Vietnam Veterans recognition ceremony set for March 29 in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A Vietnam Veterans Recognition Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, at VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.

The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. at the post, located at 1049 N. Kingshighway. A meal will be provided by the VFW Auxiliary at 5 p.m. for those in attendance.

The event is open to post members, auxiliary members, veterans, families and the public. Organizers say the ceremony is intended to honor the service and sacrifice of Vietnam War veterans and offer a message of appreciation and welcome.
