Volunteers needed for Delta area cleanup efforts

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau County Emergency Management’s Long Term Recovery Committee is organizing a volunteer workday on May 17, 2025, to assist residents in the Delta area with cleanup efforts.

Those interested in volunteering can sign up at Delta Volunteer Day May 17, 2025.

Monetary donations are still being accepted for the Community Impact Fund to support disaster relief efforts. Contributions can be made online at Cape Area Community Foundation Community Impact Fund or by mail to the Cape Area Community Foundation, 980 N. Kingshighway, Suite #103, Cape Girardeau, MO, 63701.

Checks should be made payable to “Cape Area Community Foundation” with “4/2/2025 Tornado” in the memo.
