Voters head to the polls in Missouri on Tuesday
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Tuesday, April 5 is Election Day in Missouri. Several cities and counties have local elections on the ballots.
Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be able to vote.

You will need an acceptable form of ID to vote. According to the Missouri Secretary of State’s website, acceptable forms of ID include the following:
- “Identification issued by the state of Missouri, an agency of the state, or a local election authority of the state;”
- “Identification issued by the United States government or agency thereof;”
- “Identification issued by an institution of higher education, including a university, college, vocational and technical school, located within the state of Missouri; or”
- “A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or other government document that contains the name and address of the voter.”
If you are registered to vote but do not have an acceptable form of ID, you will still be able to cast a provisional ballot.
