Woman sought in connection with Cape Girardeau stabbing incident
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police responded to a disturbance call at an apartment in Cape Girardeau early Sunday morning, where they found a female victim with multiple stab wounds and other injuries.
According to witnesses, the victim had been arguing with a female suspect, identified as Sanaa-Azzariya K. McAfee, who allegedly threw hot grease on the victim and stabbed her with a knife.
The victim reported that McAfee, who had been staying with her for three weeks after her home was damaged in a tornado, got upset and began arguing with her after a third person left the apartment.
McAfee allegedly took the victim’s cell phone and car keys and fled the scene. The stolen vehicle, a 2017 blue Ford Escape, was last seen in Ferguson, Missouri.
The victim suffered multiple injuries, including stab wounds to the neck, left thigh, and right hand, as well as a cut on her nose and burns to her face.
