Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau to host annual run/walk event on June 14

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau will host its annual 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on June 14, with a new 10K race added to the event.

This year’s event has been selected as one of the Cape Road Runners’ Grand Prix Events for 2025.

Runners of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate, with proceeds supporting Zonta’s mission of empowering women through service and advocacy.

Registration is available online at Zonta 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run. Early bird rates apply until May 23.

The event will take place at Arena Park, with the 10K starting at 8 a.m. and the 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:15 a.m.
