UPDATE: Flash Flood Warnings

There is still a FLASH FLOOD WARNING in place for much of far western Kentucky and southern Illinois. Flash Flood warnings still in place as of 2 p.m. Wednesday are highlighted below.

Flash Flood 2pm

Several inches of rain has fallen over our area. Light rain is still ongoing this afternoon, but it is expected to end by this evening.

Radar Estimate 1pm

Radar estimates have rainfall totals in the 9-13″ range in portions of western Kentucky, southern Illinois, SE Missouri, and NW Tennessee.

In fact, the preliminary state 24-hour rainfall record for Kentucky was broken according to the National Weather Service in Paducah. By early Wednesday afternoon, Graves County was already seeing reports well over 11″, with the previous record set in Louisville at 10.48″ seen in one day.
